4-SS
2 Sections: Open, Reserve (under 1600 USCF or unrated)
One Half-Point Bye available, Rounds 1-3. Must request before start of Round 2.
Must be a member of the US Chess Federation & Michigan Chess Association. (Members of other state associations OK)
The most recent USCF rating supplement will be used for determining ratings. Unrated players may play in either section.

Time Control:

G/90+15s (scorekeeping required for entire game)

Rounds:

Saturday 10am & 2:30pm
Sunday 9:30am & 2pm

Entry Fee:

Both Sections: $30 (U18 $5 off), Free entry to GM, IM, FM, & 2200+, adv entry fee deducted from prize.
Advance entries must be paid by August 8. For entry fees paid after August 8, add $10 more.

Open: 1st $300, 2nd $150; Top U2000 $70 U1800 $70
Reserve: 1st $175, 2nd $95; Top U1300 $70 U1000 or Unr: $70
Top U.P. Resident in each section will earn title and trophy!
