SECTIONS:

  • Major (FIDE Rated): $1300 — $700 — $500 — $300
  • Under 2100 (FIDE Rated): $1100 — $600 — $400 — $200
  • Under 1900: $1100 — $600 — $400 — $200
  • Under 1700: $900 — $500 — $300 — $200
  • Under 1500: $700 — $400 — $250 — $200
  • Under 1300: $500 — $300 — $200 — $150

Unrateds may not win over $150 in U1300, $200 in U1500, $250 in U1700, $300 in U1900, or $350 in U2100.

ENTRY FEES:

  • $110 online by 8/02
  • $120 online by 8/16
  • $130 online by 8/29
  • $150 after that or onsite

  • GMs/WGMs & all IL FIDE titled players free entry. Out of state IMs $50 off. Online registration should recognize title.
  • 4-day onsite entries after 6:30pm Friday receive ½-point bye for round 1
  • 3-day onsite entries after 9:30am Saturday receive ½-point bye for round 1
  • 2-day onsite entries after 9:30am Sunday receive ½-point bye for round 1
  • You may play up one section for $20 extra. Must be at least 1100 to play up into U1500.
  • 1/2 point byes OK all rounds, must commit by end of round 2 (maximum 2)
  • Reentry available for $50 (no Major to Major)
  • Default time is 1 hour

4-day Schedule - G/90;+30 second increment:

  • Friday 7:00pm
  • Saturday 10:00am, 4:00pm
  • Sunday 10:00am, 4:00pm
  • Monday 10:00am, 3:00pm

3-day Schedule - 1st two games G/60;d10 then merges with 4-day schedule:

  • Saturday (G/60;d10): 10:00am, 1:00pm
  • Saturday (G/90;+30): 4:00pm
  • Sunday (G/90;+30): 10:00am, 4:00pm
  • Monday (G/90;+30): 10:00am, 3:00pm

2-day Schedule - 1st four games G/30;d5, then merges with 4-day schedule:

  • Sunday (G/30;d5): 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm
  • Sunday (G/90;+30): 4:00pm
  • Monday (G/90;+30): 10:00am, 3:00pm
