2024 Chess Day at Nationwide Arena

The Columbus Blue Jackets are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Chess Day at Nationwide Arena on Feb 25th!

With support from The Columbus Chess Academy, Columbus Chess Club, & The Royal Oak Initiative, this event is for all ages and all levels of experience to attend, show support, and help grow the chess scene in Columbus. 

Younger players can compete in our Scholastic Competition, while other players can participate in our Simultaneous Exhibition. All attendees, whether participating or just attending in support, will be able to join us for our Speaker Session with Chess Master Tom Britt and Win different CBJ Prizes.

Every purchase includes a ticket to the afternoon Blue Jackets game vs the NY Rangers at 6pm! A ticket MUST be purchased to attend the Chess Day event at 11 AM.
