Rapid (quick-rated)

• $40 Entry Fee.
• 5SS, G/15;+10
• Two sections: Open and Reserve (U1300).
• Saturday, August 31
• Round times 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm.

Blitz

• $30 Entry Fee.
• 5SS, G/3;+2
• Two sections: Open and Reserve (U1300).
• Sunday, September 1
• Round 1 begins 10am. Following rounds begin immediately.

Notes

• Pre-registration is preferred. At-the-door registrations will have $5 added to EF.
• Discounted EF of $50 for entry to both events! No refunds given once round 1 of the Rapid event begins.
• 80% of paid entrees will be returned as prize money.
• Sections may be combined for pairing but prize groups will remain distinct. First and second place prizes in each section, and additional place prizes will be added for every 10 entries above 30 (e.g. 4th place, 5th place, etc.)
• If an out of state player places, they will receive the corresponding prize money but not the AR Rapid/Blitz Champion title or trophy.
