Open to all Chess Players under the age of 21

Site: Simpson Elementary School, 250 Worthington Dr., Bridgeport, WV 26330
Format: 4 round Swiss System, G/60 d/10
Schedule: Registration: 9:00 Rounds: First Round - 10 am subsequent rounds to follows as announced at the site.
Entry Fee: $20 and membership in the WVCA or OSA required. On site day of registration is $25
3 Sections: Junior Championship - For Players Rated 700 & Over The top placed WV resident in the Championship division will be the 2023 WVCA Junior Champion under the age of 21 as of November 30, 2023.
Beginner - For Unrated Players or Players Rated Under 700
Trophy to top three Individuals in Championship and Beginner sections.
Friends and Family Open Section (G/45;d5):
4SS, G/45, d5. Saturday 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., Anyone registering after 10:00 a.m. must take a half-point bye in round 1. USCF Rated section. Trophies for each category of combined player/student results.
