This year the NC State Championships has a prize fund of $7,705 based on 120 full entries. There are class prizes starting at U900 up to 2199 at almost 100 point intervals. Space is limited so sign up soon. The tournament is open to all ages as long as you are an NC resident or student at an NC university/college.
For those staying in the hotel, the rooms are $89 per night and there is a free breakfast. The location is the Best Western Plus in Burlington, NC.

There will be 4 sections (Championship,U2000, U1600 and U1200) with class prizes almost every 100 Elo. Trophies will be awarded to the state champions for Championship, U2200, U2000, U1800, U1600, U1400, U1200.
Also, there is a bonus prize for the top scoring senior in each section.
