2023 En Passant Pittsburgh Scholastic Chess Open

When: Saturday March 4, 9am-3:30pm

Where: Mt. Lebanon Christian Church 367 Cedar Blvd, Mt Lebanon, PA 15228

FORMAT:

•  4 Rounds (9:30AM, 10:45AM, 12:45PM, 2:00PM)

• 3 Sections: Beginner (Unrated-499), Intermediate (500-899), and Championship (900+)

  • Playing up a section (or two) is an option if players are looking for an extra challenge

  • Players may choose to play down 1 section ONLY IF they are provisionally rated

• Time Control: 30 minutes per side + 5 second delay

• K-12 Welcome

Other: Boards and pieces provided. All players in the Intermediate and Championship sections must take notation Guaranteed prizes for top 3 in each section (more may be added based on number of participants).
