SPECIAL 1-POINT FULL BYE

To accomodate various schedules, we are implementing a special 1-point full bye for all players in a round of their choice.  All players will need to declare which round they wish to receive this bye in advance.  Players will also need to indicate if they want to take a break for that round, or if they would like to be paired as a rated bye game anyway, which will not count towards the tournament points.  This needs to be declared before Saturday 11:30am round is paired and before the respective round is paired.  Rounds are paired 15 minutes before the start of each round.  If none is declared, it will be assumed to be round 1 of the respective schedule. If a bye is requested but it is unclear if a game is desired, it will be assumed to not be paired. Major pairing variation: to accomodate this more easily, it will be possible to play the same player twice; one as a bye, and one not.  If this occurs, the pairing will remain the same with opposite colors."
