* 4 round Swiss, G/100 + 10 sec increment

* Rounds at 9:00 AM and 1:15 PM both days

* Two Sections: Open (open to all) and Amateur (U1800)

* $90 early entry fee (deadline for submission 12/15), $110 afterwards, $20 extra play-up fee for U1800 to participate in Open Section

* Open Section: 1st $800, 2nd $600, Top U2000 $350

* U1800 Section: 1st $800, 2nd $600, Top U1400 $350

* Plaques for DC Champion, DC Senior Champion, and DC Amateur Champion (to highest-scoring DC residents)

Place prizes guaranteed, class prizes proportional based on 60 entries

* Highest scoring DC resident earns the title of 2022 Washington, D.C. Chess Champion

* Highest scoring senior resident earns title of 2022 DC Senior Chess Champion and represents DC in the 2023 National Tournament of Senior State Champions, held at the U.S. Open

* One half point bye allowed any round; please request by evening of 12/16
