3 Sections: Open, Reserve (U1800), and Novice (U1400)
One ½-point bye available in rounds 1-3, must be requested prior to round 2.
USCF membership required. MCA membership required for Michigan residents.

Top Michigan Resident in the Open Section will represent the state at the
2022 Irwin National Tournament of Senior State Champions
Held with the U.S. Open in Rancho Mirage CA from July 30 – August 2.
• Representative must reach age 50 prior to July 30.
• MCA provides a stipend to assist with travel expenses.
