• A nominating event for the Denker, Barber, and Rockefeller National Tournaments of Champions.
• US Chess Junior Grand Prix points available
• Four-round Swiss in three sections: HS (9-12), MS (6-8), ES (K-5)
• Non-scholastic Sidekick Quads: Suggested entry fee donation benefits the Scholastic Chess Fund: $20.
• Registration and round start times staggered by section.

• Time control: G/61;+5

MIDDLE SCHOOL SECTION (6-8) - US Chess Junior Grand Prix points available

• Nominating event for the Dewain Barber National Tournament of Middle School State Champions.
• Time control: G/61;+5

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SECTION (K-5)

• Nominating event for the John D Rockefeller III National Tournament of Elementary School State Champions.
• Time control: G/30;+5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This is a Maine Scholastic Grand Prix (SGP) event. No entry fees are charged for K-12 students.
• US Chess memberships are provided for players who have registered for the SGP before the deadline.
• Non-scholastic Sidekick Quads will run concurrently with High School Sections.
