2022 Idaho East Regional Scholastic Tournament

2022 Scholastic State Qualifiers Chess Tournament

Dates & Locations:  

East: January 29, 9 am, ISU Student Union Bldg, Pocatello, Idaho

West:  February 5, 9 am, Riverside Hotel, Boise, Idaho

South Central: February 12, 9 am, Robert Stuart Middle School, Twin Falls, Idaho

North:  March 5, 9 am, Lakeland High School, Rathdrum, Idaho

 

Round Times begins at 9 am continuous rounds with a break after round 3.

 

Open Format: 5SS G/30;d5

 

Sections: K-5, 6-8, 9-12

 

Byes: 1 half-point bye any round if declared by round 2

 

Registration fee:  $25  Cost of registration will never inhibit a player, contact us for a scholarship or for family rates.

 

Requirements:  No memberships needed!  No state requirement. Open to all scholastic players.

 

Prizes:  Trophies for top 1st - 3rd overall in each section, other trophies, and medals awarded for state qualifiers, top 3 in each grade.  Top School (using top four players from each school)

 

Qualify for State Scholastics by scoring 3.0 points, winning 1st - 3rd in your section, or being a senior.
