All entrants are also eligible and encouraged to play in an unrated free practice tournament to help familiarize you with the ChessKid system, the week before on May 15. It will start at 10 AM and will be a 4 round Swiss, Game/8 Minutes with 1-second Increment. The results will not count toward the main event, nor will it be USCF-rated. We encourage all who register to participate in this warm-up. This will make sure your event username and password work and help to resolve any connectivity issues.
