Format:  4-SS (no eliminations). Accelerated Pairings if appropriate.       

Time Control:  G/45; +15.    

Registration:  8:30 - 9:15.  

Rounds: 9:30 - 12:30 - 2:45 - 5:00.

Players who register in advance do not need to arrive early.

One 1/2-point bye may be requested at any time up to the start of round two.

All players will compete in the same section, however:

All players aged 14 and below may register as amateurs if they wish to do so.
 

All players without ratings may register as amateurs if they wish to do so.
 

Amateurs will not be eligible for cash prizes, but there will be a trophy presented to the top-scoring amateur.

All games will be rated by the United States Chess Federation. (Regular and Quick)
All players must be members of the United States Chess Federation.

THINGS TO KNOW:
 

Food:  There's nothing but a convenience store (which does serve hot food) in the immediate vicinity, but there's a whole road full of fast food choices about 10 minutes up the road in St. Joseph.
 

The site also includes numerous outdoor picnic tables, if it happens to be a nice December day, as well as a full kitchen.

I've added extra time to the schedule between rounds 1 and 2 to give everyone time to eat. 
 

Free Parking: Ample, off street

Director will be available to play an optional rated game against the player who receives a bye during any round where there is an odd number of players.

Director will not paired normally, and will not be eligible for any cash prizes.
