* OPEN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – Open Championship – Any Age (USCF RATED)  - USCF Required
* OPEN GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP – Girls, Grade K-12 (USCF RATED) - USCF Required
* GRADE K-12 (UNRATED) – Scholastic Girls Section – USCF Membership NOT Required

Entry Fees
Open Women's Championship: Early Registration $25 (by 1/1/2025). Regular reg. $30 by 1/10/2025
Open Girls Championship = Early Registration $25 (by 1/1/2025). Regular reg. $30 by 1/10/2025
Grade K-12 (Unrated) = Early Registration $20 (by 1/1/2025). Regular registration $25 by 1/10/2025
* Note: Day of Event Registration is $5 More
* St. Mary Bay View Students & Faculty, receive Free entry – Please email: frank@oceanstatechess.com

Student who want to play in USCF Rated section only need to purchase $20 USCF Membership good for 1 yr
 

Format: 4SS, G/30; d5 – 4 Rounds.
Round 1 starts around 10:00 AM and finish around 3:00 PM
 

Prizes
Trophies for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place in every section, Medals
1st Place Championship Winner Must be a Rhode Island Resident,
There will also be 1st Place Trophies for out-of-state players who participate

• OSCA is honored to sponsor Rhode Island's 1st ever All-Girls & Women's Championship in R.I. History
• St. Mary Bay View is the oldest and most prestigious All -Girls School in Rhode Island founded in 1874
• Tournament will be held in the Library 
• Event is Open to Out-of-State players

• Register here online by 01/10/2025. Pre-registration check-in from 9:15 – 9:45 AM.
• NOTE: US CHESS has increased all USCF membership prices by +20% after January 1, 2025
• Scholarships available, please email with hardship reason
• Late entries 1/2 pt. bye, or be paired with late entries
• Byes must be requested in advance. Tournament will run continuous
• All participants in OPEN Championship Women’s & Girl’s Section must be registered with U.S. Chess Federation
  as a “Girl” or “Woman.” – These are USCF Rules and policies we must follow as the USCF R.I. State Affiliate.
• Chess sets & clocks will be provided
