1st Arizona Team Championship

 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. LIMITED TO THE FIRST 63 TEAMS REGISTERED! Format: 5 Round Swiss. Time control: Game in 40 minutes with a 5 sec delay. Team of 4 players. Board order from highest to lowest rating. Players must play all 5 rounds on the same board. Sections: Open (1600 and up), Under 1600, Under 1000, and Unrated. Sections are not based on team average rating. Players are not allowed to play in a section lower than their rating. Playing up is allowed. USCF membership is required for Open, Under 1600, and Under 1000 sections. Entry Fee: $50 individual/$200 a Team by 09/01/2025. $60 individual/$240 a Team by 11/03/2025. $70 individual/$280 a Team by 11/19/2025. $80 individual/ $320 a Team by 11/20/2025. $90 individual/$360 a Team same day. Prizes: Big trophy + individual trophy for top 3 Teams in each section and Best Team Under 500 in Under 1000 section. Trophy for Top 3 on each board.
