Ben’s Chili Bowl & The DC State Chess Federation Present the 1st Annual Ben’s Chili Bowl CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP Sunday February 6th, 2022 @ 11:15am-2:00pm DUE TO THE CURRENT SURGE OF THE CORONA VIRUS, WE ARE MOVING OUR TOURNAMENTS ONLINE FOR SAFETY!! Location: Online at www.lichess.org A US Chess Federation (USCF) rated scholastic tournament for K-12th grade players! IMPORTANT - ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE USCF! USCF membership can be purchased online at: https://secure2.uschess.org/webstore/member.php Please give affiliate membership appreciation to: A6055054 Format: 4-SS, G/15; +10. USCF online rated. Lichess.org account and Zoom required to play. Registrants will be emailed instructions on how to join the tournament shortly after registration closes. USCF online ratings used for pairings. To ensure fair play, all participants are required to join a Zoom meeting for the duration of the tournament. Pairings will be provided in the Zoom meeting. More details will be sent after you register. Sections: Under 500, under 1000, under 1400, Open Entry fee: Free Awards: Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section. Trophies will be mailed so please make sure you provide your mailing address. Registration closes February 4th at 5pm!! February 6th – Check in 11:15am. 1st round starts at 11:30am and ASAP.
