A US Chess Federation (USCF) rated scholastic tournament for K-12th grade players!
IMPORTANT - ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE USCF!
Sections – K-1 Open, K-3 Open, K-5 Open, K-8 Open, K-12 Open
Awards – Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section. Team trophies for each section. (Team = 2-4 players from same school.)
Top girl trophy for each section!
4 – SS, G/40;d5
4 rounds (games), Swiss System (everyone plays 4 games).
Entry Fees (Please pay at the door.) – Standard: $25
Supporter: $40 Comparable with entry fees in Maryland and Virginia and enables you to contribute to DC State Chess Federation’s mission of ensuring chess access and opportunities to all.
Access rate: $5 If the standard fee is a barrier to participation, a contribution of $5 (or whatever is affordable) will reserve your seat in the tournament.

Registration closes October 13th at 8pm!! No onsite registration!!
October 14th – Check in 9:15-9:45am. Rounds at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm
