18th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Chess Championship

Sections: K-1 Open, K-1 U400, K-3 Open, K-3 U600, K-5 Open, K-5 U600, K-8 Open, K-8 U600, K-12 Open, K-12 U800
You may play in sections with grades higher than yours, but not lower.

Awards: Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section. Top team trophy for each open section. Top girl trophy for each section.

Format: 4-SS (4 rounds / games; Swiss System - everyone plays 4 games).
G/25,d5 (25 minutes per side, 5 second delay per move).

Schedule: Check in 9:15 am - 9:45 am. 1st round starts at 10 am.

Entry fee: $25 - Standard rate
$40 - Supporter rate; comparable to tournaments in Maryland and Virginia
$5 - Access rate; available for all for whom a higher entry fee is an obstacle.
