PRIZE FUND: $500 based on 28 U.S. Chess Federation Rated Players. The Cash Prize Fund will increase with more than 28 rated players entering the tournament.

FORMAT: 5 Games Swiss System (No elimination).   Time Control G/24;d5, recording of moves is not required. U.S.C.F. Quick rated only. Your regular U.S.C.F. rating will not change.

Scholastic Grades K-6               Trophies to 1st and 2nd in Grades K-3, and 4-6

Scholastic Grades 7-12              Trophies to 1st and 2nd in Grades 7-9, and 10-12

Scholastic Sections will not be U.S. Chess Federation rated, and no membership is required.

BYES: One 1/2-point requested Bye allowed. Round 5 Bye is IRREVOCABLE and must be specified before round 2 pairings, round 4 Bye must be specified before round 3, other Byes before their round starts.

CHESS SETS and CHESS CLOCKS will be provided. However, if you have a set that you would rather use, you may

substitute your equipment for any round with the approval of the player of the black pieces for that pairing.
