2 Sections (age as of December 31, 2025): Senior Championship (50 & older only), Adult U1800 (ages 21 and up).  TD reserves the right to merge sections based upon number of entries.

Format: 5 rounds. Time Control: G/90, inc /10. 2-day schedule, round 1, G/60, inc /10. One ½-point bye before last round, commit by end of registration.

Prizes:  Trophies to 1st – 3rd; additional class or age trophies depending on advance entries.  1st place WVCA member and WV resident will be WVCA 2025 Senior Champion and nominee to 2026 US Senior Championship (Irwin Invitational).  A Prize fund after expenses will also be awarded. Top over 70 prizes of $50.00 guaranteed.

Entry Fee:  Advance entries are very much appreciated.  EF $50 for entries received by 11/12/2025, $60 hereafter.  Mail entry with checks payable to Harrison County Chess Club, P.O. Box 4338, Clarksburg, WV 26302.  On site entries, cash only. Advance registration can be done at Chessregister.com. The first 30 Paid entries will receive a box lunch if registered by 11/12/2025.

Guest Room Block: A block of rooms up under Harrison County Chess Club, the rate will be 79.00 plus tax per room per night. The tax on the guest rooms is 13%. The guest will need to call 304 842-5411 and ask to make a reservation with the block Harrison County Chess Club. They will need to call by November 12, 2025, to get the special rate.
