5 Sections: K-5 Championship, 6-8 Championship, 9-12 Championship, Girls K-12 Championship, Booster

K-5, 6-8, 9-12, Girls K-12: Players must have a USCF rating of at least 1000. Trophies to top 8 players in each section.

Booster: Open to players who are not eligible for the championship sections or are looking for a more casual experience. Medals to all players.

EF: $40 online by 5/11; $50 online; $60 onsite

Rounds: 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm and ASAP

Byes: One half-point bye is allowed in round 1, 2, or 3. A first-round bye must be requested online before the start of the tournament. All other byes must be requested before the start of round 2.

A similar event is being played simultaneously in Northern New Jersey at Vernon Township High School. You must play at the event closest to your home according to GPS. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

The winner in each section (other than Booster) qualifies for a playoff with the corresponding winner from the South event. Playoff will be held on June 1 at Kings & Queens Chess Academy in Piscataway to determine the NJ representatives to the US Open Tournaments of Champions.
