Scholastic Chess Tournament designed for beginners and players with a short experience. Only for players rated under 1000. Format: 4 rounds Swiss Game in 25/5d. Sections: Open (600-999), K-12 Under 600, K-3 Under 500, and K-3 Under 200. Entry Fee: $25 by Wednesday, $30 by Friday, $35 same day. Prizes: Every Kindergarten gets a participation trophy! Trophy for top 5 in each section. Trophy for top 3 School Team. USCF membership is required.
