entry fee: $70 checks payable to Lafayette Chess Club. 1st Place $250, 2nd Place $150, 1st and 2nd Place for class A, B, C, and D/E/UNR. must have 3 or more for each class or they will be combined. 5 rd swiss. Registration from 8am to 9am. 1st rd G/60 i30, rds 2 thru 5 G/90 i30. Rd1 starts at 9am Rd 2- 1:30, Rd3- 6pm Sunday Rd 4- 9am, Rd 5- 1:30 Byes: One 1/2 pt. available if requested before 2nd Rd. No electronic devices in tournament playing hall. Hotel rates are $57 tax included. Discovery Inn and Suites 337-235-0858 reserve by phone, reference Lafayette Chess Club and the Lafayette Open.
