Tournament Information

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE US Chess Federation (USCF)!

Sections:
• Open – Anyone, any age
• Scholastic – K-1, K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12
You may play in sections with grades higher than yours, but not lower.

We will scholarship USCF memberships for DC scholastic players who need them.

Format: 4-SS (4 rounds; Swiss System - everyone plays 4 games).

G/45;d5 (40 minutes per side with a 3-second delay).

Schedule: 8/29 check-in 9:15 AM – 9:45 AM. Round 1 begins at 10:00 AM.

Open Entry Fee: $40

Scholastic Entry Fee: $25

(All scholastic players who are DC residents FREE!)

Open Section Prizes

1st Place: $200

2nd Place: $125

3rd Place: $75

Scholastic Awards

Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section.

Top team trophy for each section.

Top female trophy for each section.
