Prize Fund:  Open Section: $150-100-50 Guaranteed ($300 Total Guaranteed)

Under 1900 Section: $232 total b/8 entries in Under 1900 Section

Under 1700 Section: $232 total b/8 entries in Under 1700 Section

Under 1500 Section: $232 total b/8 entries in Under 1500 Section

Under 1300 Section: $232 total b/8 entries in Under 1300 Section

Registration and Entry Fee:

Register by Aug 30 pay $30;

Register Aug 31-Sept 6 pay $35;

Register Sept 7-13 pay $40;

Register Sept 14-18 (6pm) pay $45;

After Sept 18 pay $50.

Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 morning of tournament; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely.

Masters play for free; $30 deducted from prize.

USCF membership required.

Time Control:  All sections G/60; delay 5.  Each player receives 60 minutes plus a 5 second delay to complete each game.

3 round Swiss System; Round Schedule:

1st Round 10am;

2nd Round 1pm;

3rd Round 3:30pm

One single optional half point bye allowed for any round declared before Round 2.

Section choice guidelines:  For "playing up" in Open, Under 1900 Section, Under 1700 Section, or Under 1500 Section, the 100 point guideline applies: minimum recommended rating to enter Open Section is 1800, minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1900 Section is 1600, minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1700 Section is 1400, and minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1500 Section is 1200.

Cash prizes in Under 1700 Section based on 8 entries in U1700:  $80-64-48; Top Under 1600 prize $40
