DCA Somerset Open QUADS October 25th, 2026

USCF Rated QUADS Open to All RATING LEVELS and ALL AGES

Unrated, beginners, intermediate, advanced, experts, and masters  EVERYONE is welcome.

Date -  Sunday, October 25th, 2026

Location - Knights of Columbus, Somerville (495 E Main St, Somerville, 08876)

Format - Quads/Round Robin (small Swiss depending on the number of participants)

***In the Quad format, participants will be grouped into four-player divisions based on their USCF rating. Each player will have the opportunity to play three games against all other members in their group, ensuring a balanced and competitive experience!***

Rounds - 3 rounds (1st round starts at 1.30pm and ASAP)

Time control - G/30; d5

***CHESS SETS AND CLOCKS WILL BE PROVIDED***

Prizes - 1st place of each Quad- $80          

Registration Fee - $40

Players may use the following discount codes towards Registration fee based on their current USCF Regular Rating (Optional)

• OVER1000 – for players rated 1000+
• OVER1400 – for players rated 1400+
• OVER1800 – for players rated 1800+

Important:

This tournament is OPEN TO ALL RATING LEVELS, including unrated players. These codes are only optional discounts, not eligibility requirements. If a player’s rating changes before the event, they must pay or receive the difference.
