Costume Blitz Arena and Musical Chess

Blundercheck returns to Frank's Monster Munchies for a Halloween chess experience you won't forget. Come in costume, come hungry, and come ready to play a lot of chess!

Part 1: The Blitz Arena

Three hours of unlimited games. Win as many as you can, and rack up bonus points for win streaks. Finish a game and you may challenge a rematch for revenge or jump straight to the next available player. Enter whenever you like, take breaks whenever you need, and climb the standings for three hours!

Part 2: Musical Chess

Two rounds of Blundercheck's signature elimination game, and it gets excitingly chaotic. Think musical chairs, except when the music stops you move to a different board and pick up someone else's position mid-game. Play fast or you're out. Choose your boards wisely!

12:45 PM: Check-in closes for the 1:00 start
1:00 – 4:00 PM: Blitz Arena
4:00 – 4:45 PM: Musical Chess (2 rounds)
4:45 PM: Awards & Costume Prizes

Format: All games casual and unrated, played under the official rules of US Chess
Field limit: 24 players in the Arena
Registration: Online at blundercheckchessclub.com, or walk up on event day. Walk-ups must arrive by 12:45 PM to be paired for the start.
Payment: Cash, cards, and most digital payments accepted
Equipment: Sets and clocks provided
Tiebreaks: Armageddon, if necessary
Refunds: Available by request any time before the event begins

Frank's Monster Munchies is a full-service restaurant and bar, and the event is all ages. Children 14 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Spectators are always free, so bring the whole crew!
