QUAD FORMAT

The CCC conducts a regular "quad" US Chess rated tournament open to all scholastic (K-12) players. Quads, which group students by their skill level, are a great way for students to get closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge.​

HOW IT WORKS

• Players must register weekly and in advance 

• 3 rated games every Friday night

• Each evening will be limited to the first 60 players to register 

• Entries are first registered, first served

• Quads are for students (K-12) only

ROUND TIMES

Round 1: 7:00pm 

Round 2: ASAP

Round 3: ASAP

Approximate End Time: 9:00pm

FORMAT

Quads - Students are placed into groups of 4 by their most recent "live" US Chess regular rating to help ensure that students get close matchups.

G/25; Increment 5

US Chess Regular Rated

Each player receives 25 minutes plus a 5 second bonus each move to complete each game
