Time Control:

G30; +5 (30 minutes for each player with a 5-second increment per move for each player)

Rounds: 

4 Rounds; Rnd 1 at 2.30 pm and the following rounds asap. The tournament usually takes about 2 to 2.5 hrs.

Registration fees: 

$25 (non-members) and $20 (CK&Q members) till the previous day of the event.  There is an additional $10 late entry fee for same-day registration. Registration ends on Saturday at 1.30 pm.

Prizes:

The top three winners in each category receive trophies.

Byes:

If you can’t make it to all of the rounds then you may take a half-point bye (only 1) in any round, make sure to inform the TD which round you will be missing. Byes must be requested before the tournaments start. If you are going to take 1st round bye then email michelle@chesskq.com at least 1 hour before the tournament starts.
