EVENT OVERVIEW
The tournament is open to all, including students, faculty, and town residents. Open to beginners and experienced players. Includes a scholastic section for kids with medals!

EVENT DETAILS
4 round Swiss, G/25;d5, Dual (Regular & Quick) Rated.
Rounds start promptly at 3pm and continue ASAP. Will run until approximately 8:00pm. Please arrive by 2:30 so as to not be late for your first round.
1/2 point byes available, please specify on the registration page or through email 24 hours prior to the tournament if needed.
Prize fund is $10 per section entrant with a minimum of $50 per section up to $100 per section. If there are more than 20 non-scholastic entrants, players will be divided into separate sections with separate prize funds. Prize is given to the top placing finisher(s) in each section.
The Scholastic-Novice section will be for players under 18 only, and will have medals for all participants instead of a prize fund. Players under 18 can choose to play in the scholastic section.
Adult sections are determined by rating, there are usually either 1 or 2, with an equal number of players in each.
Email is preferred for questions and registration, phone number is preferred if it is the day of or an emergency.

This makes starting on the day much faster and easier. If you have problems registering, contact the tournament director at [email protected] and he will register you. You may also register on the day of, in the tournament venue. You must arrive by 2:30 to register in person!!!
Payment for entry will be accepted at the tournament venue prior to the start of the tournament regardless of pre-registration.

If the player is playing in the scholastic section, please include the information in the Under 18 part of the form, otherwise, that section is not needed.
