Asheville Quick Tournament October 7 2026

Must be a US Chess Federation member to play in the rated sections. Go to www.uschess.org to sign up.

There is also an unrated section, for players who are not US Chess members.

Entry Fee: $5 CASH ONLY

3 Round Swiss, Time control: G20/inc 5. 
NOTE: This tournament does not affect your regular rating, only your quick rating.

Registration: 6:30-6:50pm. 
Round Times: 7:00/8:00/9:00pm

Sections will be formed based on number of entrants.
½ point byes available. Must commit before Rd 1. Limit 1

Prize Fund for each section:
$20 1st, $5 2nd 

 

Sets Boards, and Clocks provided.

 

There is a Subway Sandwich Shop at the front of the building. Participants in Asheville Chess Club tournaments get a 10% discount at this restaurant!!
