ACA Fall Scholastic 2026

Onsite Registration: 7:45 - 8:30 AM

First round starts at: 9:00 AM, opening announcements at 8:45 AM

Registrations at the door will receive a first round half point bye and start playing in round 2

Where: Arlington Classics Academy Middle, 5200 S Bowen Rd, Arlington, TX 76017

Sections:    USCF Rated Sections, USCF Membership Required

                        1) K-3 (U300)                         3) K-8 (U900)

                        2) K-6 (U600)                         4) K-12 (O900)

Format:     5 Round Swiss, non-elimination.  All concurrent rounds start ASAP.

                   G/15;+15 time delay.  Please bring your timers, if you own one.

Awards:   Ceremony estimated around 4:30 PM.

                 Trophies - Top 5 individuals 

                 Medals - 6th-10th place

                 Team awards: 5 places; top 4 scores spread across all sections.

Concessions: no Equipment: chess sets provided   Byes: available

Lunch: Yes, designated lunch period after rd 3.   Outside food brought in is allowed.

Pre-Registration: $30 if by Oct 4 $35 if between Oct 5-9; $45 for walk-ins day of event

You may purchase your USCF membership through the portal above.  Most recent supplement will be used.  We will not accept mailed entries.  If you are a school that wants to pay by check or cash you need to notify me and then you may pay at the door.  If you are school please email me player’s name, grade, and section.  There is no check-in.  You will see advanced entries online.  Everyone on that list will be paired for round 1.
