Event Overview
Format: 4-SS (no eliminations). Accelerated Pairings used if appropriate.
Time Control: G/45; 15 second increment from move 1.
Registration: 8:30 - 9:15.
Rounds: 9:30 - 12:00 - 2:15 - 4:30.
One 1/2-point bye may be requested at any time up to the start of round two.

All players will compete in the same section, however:
All players aged 14 and below have the option of registering as amateurs if they wish to do so.
All players without ratings have the option of registering as amateurs if they wish to do so.
Amateurs will not be eligible for cash prizes, but there will be a trophy presented to the top-scoring amateur.

Pro Entry Fee: $35 in advance after Early Bird cut-off date or $40 at the door.
Amateur Entry Fee: $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
$500 Prize Fund (b/25 Pro entries, 50% guaranteed):
Overall: $200 - 100.
U1600 (Pro Unrated Eligible): $100 - 50
U1200 (No Unrated): $50

Food: Microwave available for use on site. Ice Cream shop within easy walking distance, McDonalds, Burger King, & Casey's about a 3 minute drive away.
Free Parking: Ample, both in lot and on street.

Director will be available to play against the player who receives a bye during any round where there is an odd number of players.
Director will not paired normally, and will not be eligible for any cash prizes.
