Two Day: GRAND CHAMPION SECTION (Combines an OPEN & K-12) G/60;d10

This section is also the National Tournament of State Champions Qualifier Section: The top-finishing K-12 participant will be THE FLORIDA STATE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS CHAMPION  and will also represent Florida in the  HARING N.T.S.O.C. AT THE US OPEN starting in July.  The Florida Chess Association will cover hotel room for all days of the event. The winner must agree to accept the honor at the venue.

ENTRY FEE:  $40 until Feb 7, then $45 until Feb 14th, then $50. Registration closes Friday at 9pm on 2/14. No onsite entry

TIME CONTROL: Game in 60 with a 10-second delay (all rounds)

PRIZES (BASED ON 30): OPEN: $300, $200, $100 U1600: $60 & U1200: $40. Trophy & titles to the top adult and scholastic players 

SATURDAY: R1@ 9:30, Then 1/2 Hour lunch break, R2 with R3 ASAP

SUNDAY: R4 10:00, Then 1/2 Hour lunch break BEFORE R5

ALL CHESS SETS AND CLOCKS WILL BE PROVIDED

USCF MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: New and renewed memberships can be purchased on Chessregister during registration. Only current USCF members will be paired.

One Day: SCHOLASTIC ONLY SECTIONS: (K-1, K-3, K-5, & K-8) G/25;d5

ENTRY FEE: $35 until Feb 7, then $40 until Feb 14th, then $45 (K-1 is $25/$30/$35). Registration closes Friday at 9pm on 2/14. No onsite entry

TIME CONTROL: Game in 25 with a 5-second delay (all rounds)

PRIZES: Trophies to section winner. Medals to places 2nd to 5th. 

SATURDAY Only: R1@ 9:30, later rounds will start ASAP with a 1/2 hour lunch break after round #2.
