• PARKING INFORMATION: The hotel has free parking. There is both a parking lot and parking deck which players can use.

• Saturday, August 5th at 11:00 am

• Four rounds: first round at 11 am, subsequent rounds occur as soon as possible

• Four sections: K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3

    • Note: The Beltway Open (3 days long) is for both adults and children, whereas The Beltway Open Scholastic Championship (1-day event) is only open to scholastic players

      • It is possible to play both events with a round-two bye in the 3-day main event

• Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each section

• Time control: Game in 30 minutes with a 5-second delay

• Entry fee: $35 by 6/30, $40 by 7/21, $45 by 8/4, $50 on 8/5 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)

• Masks are optional

• Boards and pieces will be provided for all players, but we don’t have enough clocks for everyone (those who have clocks are welcome to bring them)

• This tournament is USCF-rated
