PARKING INFORMATION: The hotel has free parking. There is both a parking lot and parking deck which players can use.

Four rounds: first round at 11 am, subsequent rounds occur as soon as possible

Four sections: K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3

Note: The Beltway Open (3 days long) is for both adults and children, whereas The Beltway Open Scholastic Championship (1-day event) is only open to scholastic players

It is possible to play both events with a round-two bye in the 3-day main event

Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each section

Time control: Game in 30 minutes with a 5-second delay

Entry fee: $35 by 6/30, $40 by 7/21, $45 by 8/4, $50 on 8/5 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)

Masks are optional

Boards and pieces will be provided for all players, but we don’t have enough clocks for everyone (those who have clocks are welcome to bring them)

This tournament is USCF-rated
