Eligibility: Grade 12 or under

Sections: 2 - Under 1200 and Unrated, open to all ages.

Rounds/Style: 3-round Swiss System

Time Control: G/30; d5

Schedule: 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:30 PM

Features: Game analysis by FM Kevin Bachler available after each game.

Entry Fee:

• $5 for Subscribers until 9/20
• $10 Non-Subscribers until 9/20
• $5 late fee for either
• Registration closes one hour before Round 1.
• No entries onsite, online entries only.

Byes: One half-point bye is available if requested with online registration.

US Chess Membership Required:  Please obtain one BEFORE THE EVENT.  Save approximately 50% at U.S. Chess Vouchers — Caveman Chess Free US Chess membership to Park Ridge K-12 students (ages 5-18).

Late Players: Players that arrive after 8:40 AM receive a round 1 half-point bye.

Prizes:

• Plaques for 1-3 in each section.
• Participation awards to all players.

Chess Equipment: Boards, sets, and clocks provided by Caveman Chess, LLC.

Parking: Free parking. Visitors' parking behind the building and the SW corner lot at Garden & S. Fairview Streets also street parking.
