Championship: (FIDE rated) Open to FIDE or US Chess 1900 or higher; $800-$500-$320; U2300: $375-$275; U2100: $300-220;

Amateur: Open to 1500-1999; $640-$360-$260-$200; U1750: $200-$150;

Reserve: Open to 1100-1599; $640-$360-$260-$200; U1450: $200-$150;

Booster: Open to Under 1200 or unrated: $560-$360-$260-$200; U1250: $200-$150.

 

If any post-event rating posted 1/1/20-12/9/21 was more than 50 points above the prize threshold, the prize limit is $200. Balance of any limited prize goes to the next player(s) in line. EF: $93 if received by May 9, $110 later or at site. GM, IM, WGM or WIM free, $50 deducted from any prize. Reentry $50. A ½ point bye for any round, limit two, must request before starting play, no changes once the tournament begins.

Round 1 at 10:30am, 2:30pm, 7:30pm; Sun. 10:00am, 3:30pm.

 

GCA Membership Meeting at 2:30pm on Sunday, May 15. Results of the election (via Mail in ballots, no in person voting)  will be announced.  Should you need a ballot, please email secretary@georgiachess.org to request one.

Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be placed throughout the venue, allowing players to clean chess boards and pieces before each round should they so choose.
