2021 DC Scholastic Chess Championship

2021 DC SCHOLASTIC CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP Saturday December 4th, 2021 10:00am-3:00pm Location: Second Baptist Church 816 3rd Street NW Washington, D.C. 20001 A US Chess Federation (USCF) rated scholastic tournament for K-12th grade players! IMPORTANT - ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE USCF! USCF membership can be purchased online at: https://secure2.uschess.org/webstore/member.php Please give affiliate membership appreciation to: A6055054 Format: 7 sections: K-1 Open, K-3 U500, K-3 Open, K-6 U500, K-6 Open, K-12 U1000, and K-12 Open 4 rounds | G/45;d5 for K-12 Open section only (Finishing at approximately 4pm.) 4 rounds | G/30;d5 for all other sections Awards – Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section. Team trophy for each open section. (Team = 4 players from same school.) No club teams are eligible for team trophies. Top female trophy for each section! $100 for 1st place K-12 Open! Contributions/donations will be accepted at the door. Please register early as our space is limited! MASKS REQUIRED!! Registration closes December 3rd at 5pm!! No onsite registration!!
