Freska Mediterranean Grill is offering all chess players 15% off their order during the entire tournament for purchases $15.00 and up. Just say you're with the chess tournament to receive the discount. Freska is only an eight-minute walk from the tournament venue.
This year, a number of workshops previously held in-person at the U.S. Open are being hosted online in the lead-up to this year's event. This change is intended to make these workshops accessible to those not on-site. A full schedule of online workshops (and links to recordings of the already-concluded workshops) can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

The entry fee for the 125th Annual U.S. Open is $155 (online) through 11:59pm ET July 7, when it will increase to $185 (until 11:59pm ET July 21). More information is available on this page.
Entries by mail are only accepted if postmarked by July 8. The by-mail entry fee is $180 until June 23, and $200 until July 8.
