Flying
The nearest airport is Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison. To the hotel, it is a 15 mile-drive that takes approximately 25 minutes in regular traffic. Note: shuttle service to hotel is not provided.
The Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is a larger airport that might offer more flight options. This airport is about 90 minutes from Middleton by car.
Driving
Located just northwest of Madison in the center of southern Wisconsin, Middleton is only about 90 minutes by car from Milwaukee. From Chicago, the drive should take approximately 2½ hours, and approximately four hours from Minneapolis.

Caveman Chess is sponsoring a bus from the Caveman Chess Festival (Medior Open + U.S. Junior, Senior, & Blind Championships, + more) to the U.S. Open.
The bus will leave at 7:00 p.m. CDT on Sunday, July 27 from the Hilton Chicago-Northbrook, arriving at the Madison Marriott West at approximately 9:45 p.m.
The cost is $35 per person, and this service is available to all interested parties including those not competing in any of the Caveman Chess Festival events.
