Main Event Entry Fee
For all sections!
- $100 online or postmarked by March 24, 2025
- $150 online or postmarked by April 14, 2025
- $225 online ONLY by April 28, 2025
- $350 online ONLY by 11 a.m., EDT Wednesday, May 7, 2025
- $40 for section changes requested after April 14, 2025
- NO registrations by phone.
- NO mailed registrations postmarked after April 14, 2025 will be accepted.
- NO on-site entries.
- 100% refund of the entry fee if notified by email to Click here to show email address or in person at Chess Control by 11 a.m. EDT on Friday, May 9. No refunds after that time.
Main event information

- All sections will consist of seven rounds with Swiss system pairings, and a time control of G/90 d10.
- US Chess reviews complete rating history for all players, per the Scholastic Regulations.
- Unrated players may only play in the Unrated or Championship sections!
- Please bring clocks. Sets and score sheets provided.
- US Chess membership through May 2025 is required.
- Any roster changes made after April 14, 2025, or on site will incur a $40 change fee.
- Up to two half-point byes any round if requested by 11 a.m. EDT on Friday, May 9.
- The April 2025 rating supplement will be used in compliance with the Scholastic Regulations.
