🧠 Structured Lectures & Game Analysis: Interactive lessons breaking down student chess games and reviewing student matches to master strategy, opening theory, and endgame technique.

🧩 Tactical Puzzle Solving: Intensive critical thinking drills designed to sharpen pattern recognition, calculation speed, and the ability to find the "winning move."

👥 Team Bughouse Tournaments: A thrilling, fast-paced team variant where students partner up for high-energy collaboration, communication, and fun.

⚔️ Competitive Gameplay: Serious practice matches played under tournament conditions to test new skills and build the mental stamina required for rated play.

🏎️ Big Screen Puzzle Racer: Students compete live on our giant screen using our custom Lichess setup!

💎 The Economy of Success: Students earn Tickets (1), Gold Coins (10), Diamonds (100), and rare Jumbo Diamonds (1000) for solving puzzles and demonstrating chess skills.

🎁 The Awards Table: Hard work pays off! Students use their earned currency to "buy" amazing prizes.

🍿 The Student Popcorn Stand: Freshly popped popcorn and toppings available every afternoon!

⚡ Beat the Instructor: A daily chance to win Gold Coins by challenging our Chess and Jr. Chess Instructor with time odds (Instructor gets 1 minute vs Student gets 3 minutes).

 CHESS CAMP TOURNAMENT FORMAT

🏆 Special Friday Schedule:  8:30AM – 6:30PM Friday offers a completely unique format! The day features two major tournaments: Team Bughouse Tournament and Standard Classical Chess Tournament. The day concludes with a grand awards ceremony featuring trophies and medals for our champions.

♙ Tournament open to all scholastic (K-12) grade players within the chess camp.  Students will be placed in sections by their rating level

♔ PRIZES / AWARDS

 Trophies will be awarded to first (1st), second (2nd) and third (3rd) and fourth (4) place top overall performers within each section. Additionally trophies will be awarded to first (1st), second (2nd) and third (3rd) place top overall performers within the team bughouse.

 Medals will be awarded to all players who did not place first (1st), second (2nd) and or third (3rd) within their section however did obtain a position!
