The Sunday Swiss - North Texas Chess Academy

The Sunday Swiss is our most popular weekly event!

A three round tournament (no elimination) played in 2 sections beginning at 2pm, nearly every Sunday of the year!

A Tournament for all levels! 
U900 section - Open section
Each player receives 30 minutes with a 5 second time delay.
Trophies to top 3 players in U900 section, medals to 4th and 5th. Two cash prizes for Open Section based on entries. 
USCF Rated. Current USCF Membership is required.
All USCF Tournament Rules apply, tournament director's decisions are final. 
Notation required Open, strongly encouraged in U900.
Half Point Byes available by request. 1 bye maximum. Must request before end of Round 1.
US Chess Tiebreakers used in U900 when necessary* 
FIRST 24 PLAYERS ONLY, all others will be turned away. Register online to ensure a spot every Sunday.

PLEASE READ:
Masks are required, temperatures will be checked upon entry. Parents are asked to exit Academy during event to reduce numbers indoors. Boards and pieces will be sanitized during the event. Boards are spaced out in tournament hall.
