The Summer Squash $1200

The Summer Squash in person chess tournament will be conducted for adult and scholastic players of all levels. Free USCF membership provided for new or expired scholastic members.  Chess sets provided and clocks for top 3 sections.  

Site: Hilton Garden Inn Mayfield, 700 Beta Drive, Mayfield, OH  44143.
Great playing conditions!  Plenty of parking, many nearby food choices!
Safety: Masks required, COVID protocols!

Format: 4 Round Swiss. USCF Rated.
5 Sections: Open, Under 1900, Under 1500, Under 1000, Under 500.
Time Limit Open, U1900, U1500: G/45; d5.  U1000, U500: G/30; d5.
Entry Fee: $45 (Open, U1900 & U1500), IM & GM Free
$30 (U1000 & U500)
Schedule: Round one will begin promptly at 10 AM.  
Rounds for Open, U1900 & U1500: 10:00, 12:30, 2:30, 4:15.
Rounds for U1000 & U500: Games paired ASAP.  Lunch break after round two.
Estimated Completion:  Top 3 Sections: 6PM, U1000 & U500: 2PM

Registration: At progresswithchess.org/squash until 11:59 PM, Friday July 30.
On-site registration: 9-9:45 AM.
Prizes $1200 (based on 50): Open: $250-$100, U2100: $75. U1900: $150-$75, U1700: $50. U1500: $125-$75, U1250 $50. U1000: $80-$40, U750 $30. U500: $70-$30.
