EVENT OVERVIEW
WHAT IS A QUAD TOURNAMENT?
A Quad Tournament is where all players are sorted from highest rating to lowest rating and the top four highest rated players are placed in one section (a Quad), then the following 4 highest rated players are placed in another Quad. This process continues until all players are given a designated Quad. If there are 1, 2 or 3 players remaining after the last full Quad has been designated, those players will be placed in the last quad section and that section will play a 3 round Swiss match.

Time: Doors Open at 10:00 AM
Tournament starts roughly 11:00 AM
SECTIONS:
Limited to a total of 40 people = 10 Quads
Early Online Entry Fee = $25 / $30 at Door
Time Controls:
3 Rounds of G40; d05
Prize Fund:
Each Quad receives a $60 1st Place prize,
2 Way Tie results with each player receiving $30,
3 Way Tie results with each player receiving $20
Tournament Requirements:
Must have a valid and verifiable USCF ID – If unable to verify, Membership can be purchased onsite. ***

Golden Rating Supplement from USCF Downloaded each month to help verify membership status & current ratings.

Covered/Bottled drinks are allowed at the Board.
Bottled water will be provided free of charge
