Wesley So Reaches 47 Game Undefeated Streak at Tata Steel

Wesley So's win today against prodigy super-GM Richard Rapport gives him an extraordinary 46 game undefeated streak. (Update: So's undefeated streak is now at 47 games with his victory against Loek Van Wely on January 17th.) In rounds 1 and 2, he drew against Magnus Carlsen and Anish Giri. In the Challenger section of Tata Steel, World Junior Champion Jeffery Xiong is also competing and is currently tied for 5th place. There are 10 rounds to go.
