Team USA Bags Over 20 Medals at North American Youth

While our own Fabiano Caruana was battling for the World Championship in London, Team USA bagged over 20 medals at the North American Youth held from November 16-21 in  Baja California, Mexico. Highlights included

  • Rochelle Wu, who earned a WGM norm for winning the Girls Under 20
  • Bryce Tiglon earned a GM norm by winning the Open Under 20
  • US Women’s runner-up Annie earned an IM norm and silver medal in the Open Under 20
  • A sweep of the Under 12 Open, with Adrian Kondakov – Gold , Eric Li- Silver and Vyom Vidyarthi – Bronze
