December Tournament in Irvine

• Location: Irvine Ranch Water District - Community Meeting Room

• Time Control: G/30 with a 5-second increment

• Entry Fee: $10 (cash only, payable onsite)

• Spectators: Free; however, please do not interfere with the games.

• Check-in: 2:30 PM (outside the doors)

• Doors Open: 3:00 PM

• Round 1: 3:10 PM

• Round 2: 4:30 PM

• Round 3: 5:50 PM

• Round 4: 7:10 PM

• Round 5: 8:30 PM

Prizes
A total of $110 will be deducted from the entry fees before distributing prizes.

Rules

• Notation Requirement: Players must keep notation. A 10-minute penalty may be enforced if a player fails to maintain notation, except when one player has less than 5 minutes on their clock.

• Equipment: Players must bring their own chess boards and clocks.

Player Limit

• Maximum of 50 players. The current player count will be available on the event website.
