Congrats to Webster University on their seventh straight victory at the Pan-American Intercollegiate Chess Championships, held in San Francisco, California from December 27-30. Webster’s A-team, with GMs Illia Nyzhnyk, Lazaro Bruzon Batista, Yuniesky Quesada Perez and Jorge Cori won first place, and the B-team placed second! The other three teams to make the Final Four are University of Texas at Dallas, Harvard University and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
